May 11, 2016 – It’s Still All About Who Gets to Define REALITY

Time_trent_imageToday is the 66th anniversary of the famous Trent UFO photographs from McMinnville, OR. If you are new to UFO History you should really spend some time researching this event. Here is the synopsis of the main information:

At 7:30 pm on May 11th, 1950 Evelyn Trent was walking back to her farmhouse after feeding rabbits on her farm. Mrs. Trent and her husband Paul lived on a farm approximately nine miles from McMinnville.

Before reaching the house she spotted a “slow-moving, metallic disk-shaped object heading in her direction from the northeast.”

She yelled for her husband, who was inside the house, and he came out and also saw the object. After a short time, he went back inside the house to obtain a camera.

He managed to take two photos of the object before it sped away to the west; Paul Trent’s father also briefly viewed the object before it flew away.

The Air Force commissioned the Condon Report from the University of Colorado in 1968 concluded:

This is one of the few UFO reports in which all factors investigated, geometric, psychological, and physical appear to be consistent with the assertion that an extraordinary flying object, silvery, metallic, disk-shaped, tens of meters in diameter, and evidently artificial, flew within sight of two witnesses. It cannot be said that the evidence positively rules out a fabrication, although there are some physical factors such as the accuracy of certain photometric measures of the original negatives which argue against a fabrication.

The report was named after Edward Condon who chaired the committee and had final decision-making authority over the conclusion that there was no evidence that UFOs involved any Non-Human (ET) Intelligence. Halfway through the project in 1967, Edward Condon gave a lecture where he commented on the supposedly objective study of UFO Phenomena. In late January 1967, Condon said in a lecture that he thought the government should not study UFOs because the subject was ‘nonsense’, adding, “but I’m not supposed to reach that conclusion for another year.”

It is amazing what people will say or do when they are paid to obtain a particular result. There is always a huge difference between Investigating the Unexplained and Explaining the Uninvestigated.

Earlier in 1953, the Top Secret CIA-sponsored Robertson Panel concluded that everything should be done to lessen public interest in UFOs to include monitoring UFO groups. Does anyone seriously believe that the highest levels of the military don’t pay close attention to UFO intrusions over sensitive facilities, especially when there are nukes involved?

The beauty of the system is that after 1969 when the Air Force, claiming to rely on the thoroughness and “objectivity” of the Condon Report, stated they would no longer (openly) investigate UFOs because there was no evidence that the presence of a UFO had ever posed a threat to national security. I am thinking this must have been a startling conclusion to the personnel at Malmstrom AFB after the serious UFO intrusions in 1967 such that multiple ICBM’s became inoperable after a glowing UFO hovered above the silos. If that wasn’t a threat to national security, someone in the Air Force needs to find a different career.

The presence on Earth of Non-Human Intelligence apparently controlling a vastly superior technology is a deeply disturbing idea to those who benefit from maintaining the status quo, a world where human civilization is the most intelligent lifeform in the universe and our leaders are able to protect us and guide us in every situation. As UFOs have manifested in more complex and overt behaviors over time, it has become more and more difficult to keep the lid on.

Fortunately, for the world’s superpowers, UFOs do not impact the reality of large numbers of people at any one time, except in situations such as the Phoenix Lights where there is a Mass UFO Sighting Event. Even in those situations, the wire service stories can be manipulated to ridicule and dismiss the key witnesses making it likely that any particular UFO event will just become yesterday’s news.

Fortunately for those of us who can’t leave the UFO Mystery alone, there are events such as the McMinnville UFO Festival (www.ufofest.com ) where we can hear from the best researchers in this difficult field of study, and where we can, even if only for 4 days, we can enjoy being amongst other folks who know just how important the reality of UFOs can be.

I for one will keep working to open people to the idea that the evidence already exists to prove that We Are Not Alone and this magnificent Universe has become even more splendid because of this bold, new reality we will explore.
