Welcome to the personal webpage for James E. Clarkson, Ufologist. I am the former State Director of the Mutual UFO Network in Washington State. I also work closely with two of the most dedicated researchers in this field, Peter Davenport, Director of the National UFO Reporting Center, and William Puckett, the Director of UFOSNW.
This has been a long road over 30 some years of Chasing UFOs, still trying to get to the heart of this Mystery. Although on a couple occasions I have seen odd lights that I cannot explain, I still find myself seeking the Truth.
Chasing the UFO Mystery is much like panning for gold. You spend a lot of time standing in freezing water and often you can’t see through the mud, but just about the time you think you will give up, there are flecks of gleaming gold and an occasional nugget. You just know that the next case might be a clue to the location of the Mother Lode somewhere just upstream from where you are.
I am working with dedicated investigators from various professions to make a difference in this mysterious field of study. The friends and mentors I have met in MUFON and across the field of Ufology are some of the most intelligent, insightful and serious people I have met anywhere. I am grateful for their help.
Despite the Media perspective that we are buffs, hobbyists, or the dreaded believers, people who study this phenomena seriously have ample educational and professional credentials. I am proud to work in the service of of Ufology, and the right of the public to know.
We don’t apologize for our focus on the UFO Mystery. One of the great lights in this field, Stanton Friedman, has just passed on, and in his memory, I swear to never be an “Apologist Ufologist.”
We keep interviewing, collecting the data, sorting out the unknowns from the known. At the heart of it there is a sense of wonder, the sense that something extraordinary and profound is waiting if we locate the right witness or the right evidence. Perhaps, just this once maybe we will be ahead of the game and we will discover a truth we can disclose to the public, a tipping point that will alter our perspective on Man’s role in the Universe and prove what we already strongly suspect.

We are Not Alone. We can see the old view of the Man-centered Universe disappearing like a paper-Mache movie set in a downpour. There is more water throughout our solar system than was ever imagined, on Mars, Europa, Enceladus and the Moon. There are more possible Earth-like planets than were ever admitted before orbiting around a vastly greater number of stars than astronomers ever thought possible. Perhaps the Curiousity Rover will tell us there are microbes not of this Earth.
And perhaps there is ample evidence already of Non-Human Intelligence interacting with humanity, even now, perhaps in the latest UFO report.
If we follow what we were taught, human history is a very short 5,000 year play, steadily improving until it reached the pinnacle here and now. In this version the Great Pyramid was built in 20 years even though this would have required one stone to be set every couple of couple of minutes 24/7. And we all know that with enough slaves and rollers you can cut and move a 200-ton block of stone. Except that if we couldn’t do it now, how did the “primitive” cultures do it back then, in Egypt, or carve andesite so intricately in Puma Panku, or in vast structures still overgrown with jungle or covered by the ocean off our coasts.
What is the real history of humanity on this small blue planet? Many believe that the study of UFOs may hold some of the answers.
The denial and disinformation needs to be exposed for being what it is, a disservice to the human race. Compared to all of the other lies we are told, how surprising would it be to learn there has been proof for a long time that there is other life in the universe and that we have been contacted by Non-Human Intelligence? We Need to Know.
