I Am Not a UFO Buff

I am not a “UFO buff,” a “UFO believer,” or a dilettante.

This is the webpage of a veteran UFO Investigator. This is not Web Page for anyone wanting an easy answer to the UFO Question. It is in reality a deeper and far more significant question: Has the Human Race been contacted by a Non-Human Extraterrestrial Intelligence?

Along the way I have earned a few titles, and I am sharing them not because my ego needs gratification but because those who seriously pursue the Truth behind the UFO Phenomena fight for every bit of credibility we attain.

I have succeeded in several roles — Police Sergeant, Detective, a plainclothes Military Police Investigator, child abuse investigator and others. I have completed the training required for these positions. Beyond whatever experience or skill I have earned, I am committed to finding the Truth.

Serious researchers investigate, document, interview, compose reports and draw conclusions very carefully, while hopefully maintain objectivity and integrity. I was trained to always ask myself, “What would a reasonable person conclude if they were confronted with the same information and evidence?”

I approach UFO investigations with the same degree of thoughtful listening and compassionate interest I have given to criminal suspects. Professional investigation, and more especially in this arena, unverified information is simply that. Individual accounts may remain very tantalizing but still unproved. It is easy for some people to dismiss all of the accounts and walk away, sure that no ET’s have ever been to Earth.

We fight for every bit of legitimacy we attain in this field because all it takes is the next snide broadcast on mainstream media where the announcer talks about “UFO buffs” and how everyone knows it was just a Weather Balloon or Swamp Gas because the Air Force tells us so. And always with a dismissive chuckle. I am convinced the Secret-Keepers use the condescension and ridicule as their two favorite weapons.

There is an enormous difference between Investigating the Unexplained and Explaining the Uninvestigated. After 30 years in the field of investigations, I can state there is at least a light year difference between someone who is not telling the truth and someone who is relating a truth we don’t want to acknowledge.

Linda Moulton Howe has said we negotiate a path through a hall of mirrors with a quicksand floor. Still, we know there is a deeper reality. Before that reality we are the Blind Men describing the Elephant — all right and all wrong at once.

We know Contact has happened because of the extent of the Cover-Up. And because of the brave men and women who decided, often at the close of their lives, to balance the books by telling what they experienced of the reality of Contact. In particular, I think of Jesse Marcel, deciding after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he would not die duty-bound with the truth about Roswell. Or my friend, June Crain

Even without the countless testimonies of on-duty professionals, and the encounters reported by our fellow citizens; we know there is critical information withheld. Establishment denials merely strengthen our certainty of the Big Lie.

Many lies have been told, reputations ruined, and perhaps even lives covertly terminated so the Big Lie is maintained: We are Alone in the Universe. And the corollary, that is perhaps an even bigger Lie: the rulers of the superpowers know best what we should feel and think.

Much of what passes for investigative journalism on UFO’s is nothing more than reinforcing the party line, discrediting the witnesses, maintaining the status quo; in short, when in doubt, kill the messenger.

Serious researchers know the Truth and its implications are too important, too profound, and too badly needed by a civilization that seems committed to the love of Power and Money through War and environmental exploitation.

Even if we learn there is a non-human hand on the book of our history, I, and many others, want to know the real story — not how you want us to believe.

I am not a “UFO buff,” a “UFO believer,” or a dilettante. According to Nicole Lapin on CNN, I must be worse than a “freak;” I have not seen a UFO, but I believe in the overwhelming quantity and quality of the evidence. Nicole, at least I am thinking!

Nicole Lapin, I have had the privilege of meeting some of the key researchers in this field. I have studied the works of others, Gordon Cooper, Dr. Hynek, Richard Dolan, Jesse Marcel Junior, and many more. Your shallow insults are based on ignorance. But what do we expect from the Corporate News Network?

I cannot be readily dismissed as a member of the Tin-Foil Hat brigade. I pay taxes, and am a responsible citizen, a veteran, and a career law officer. To the Secret-Keepers, people like me are your worst nightmare. When enough people like me stand together, the day of the Big Lie will be over.

I vow to keep on being a frustration to the Secret-Keepers, the sycophants who believe they are doing their duty by keeping the reality of Contact from the human race.

My friend June Crain, who worked in a classified laboratory in Wright-Patterson, summed it up very well. Addressing the Air Force’s feeble third or fourth attempt to explain the Roswell Crash, June said, “It’s a damned lie. They’re using the same old balloon story. It was a lie then, and it’s still a lie.”

I am also looking for the Witnesses — those who know truths that are burdensome because of their implications for the human race, and yet are forbidden from Disclosure. Your Truth needs to be added and brought to bear against the Big Lie.

Maybe all we can do is to speak Truth to Power. Perhaps the Secret-Keepers fear the day we see each other as citizens of Earth, the human beings of Terra, and not blind adherents of one arbitrary religious or national culture.

If you are also a researcher who won’t give up, won’t give in, and won’t surrender then I salute you and you are welcome here.

If you are a Witness, I will be a compassionate listener and a thorough investigator.

Namaste.

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.
